The
Schoberts at
the
Centre Evangélique LE ROCHER
in Melun, France - 1999

Steven
Schobert graduated as Valedictorian from Jackson College
of Ministries in 1990, where he also served as Senior
Class President and was the recipient of the Jacksonian
Award. Following
graduation, the Schoberts came to Plano, Texas, to
assist Pastor Dan Rigdon at the Abundant Life Church.
During
their tenure as Youth Pastors in Plano, the Schoberts
organized Youth Missions trips to both France and
Russia. While
on these trips, the Schoberts felt the burden of
missions, and responded to the call.
They arrived in Melun, France in January 1999
with their two small children to serve as Associates in
Missions.
While
on AIM, the Schoberts assisted the Missionary Nowacki
Family at the Centre Evangélique LE ROCHER, and taught in the French
Bible School. They
also studied the French language at L’Alliance
Française in Paris.
The
Schoberts received their Missionary Appointment to
France by the United Pentecostal Church International in January 2001.
They arrived on the field in July 2003, after completing
18 months of Deputation Ministry in North America.
The Schoberts' Missionary responsibilities include
providing pastoral oversight of a local assembly in
Châtellerault, conducting outreach efforts into
un-evangelized areas of Western France, and teaching at
the French National Bible School, l'Institut Biblique
Français.
