General
Conference
Dear
Friends and Supporters,
The
General Conference in Louisville, Kentucky was a special
time for our family, as we were officially commissioned
as Missionaries to France.

Raising the French Flag during the
Foreign Missions Service General Conference, 2001 |
During
the Foreign Missions Service on Saturday afternoon, we
were presented to the Conference, along with other recently appointed missionary families. An
appeal for support was made, and the Conference
responded generously, raising more than 100 new Partners
in Missions for each newly appointed missionary family.
This represents more than 10 months of deputational
travel! We are thankful for our new partners, and look
forward to meeting many of you during our travels.
While
we are in the States, exciting things are continuing to
happen in France. We recently received a report from the
Nowackis on the French National Youth Convention. 800
people were in attendance; 11 new believers were
baptized in Jesus’ Name, and 10 received the baptism
of the Holy Ghost! In the two weeks following the
Convention, 5 more were baptized at the Headquarters
Church in Melun! God is doing great things in France!
Thank
you for your faithful support in prayer and finance. We
are anxious to return to the field and be involved in
the revival that God is pouring out in France. Your
support makes it possible. May God bless you richly!
Yours
for France,
The Schoberts
