40 Days for France
 Dear
Friends & Partners,
The last four years have
seen an extraordinary move of prayer and fasting in
France. Last year, tens of thousands of French
believers from almost every denomination took part in 40
days of prayer and fasting for the nation. They were
joined in prayer by thousands of intercessors from many
different nations. This year, there will be
another 40 days of prayer, which will run from March
2nd to April 10th, 2004.
The United Pentecostal
Church of France is joining again in this effort, and
would like to encourage our friends and partners in
North America to pray with us for revival in the nation
of France.
Since this prayer movement
began, the spiritual climate in France has changed
significantly. French society is now more open
than ever. The Christian faith is becoming
acceptable once again in France. The media has
become is interested and wants to be involved. The
government is also showing signs of its support.
Now, more than ever, it is time to seek the Lord; to
fast and pray for an abundant harvest!
The theme for this year's
prayer effort is, "Loving the Land." A detailed
prayer guide is available for free
download,
which will serve to direct your prayers toward specific
needs in French society and culture.
As you pray, keep in mind
the vision of the United Pentecostal Church in France:
to double the number of Churches and Licensed Ministers
in France, and to see an Apostolic Church planted in
each one of France's 22 Regions and 95 Departments.
